Behind the Scenes

The story takes place in present day South Africa. The central characters are a young modern day couple, who have recently begun living together. The focus on the dynamics found in contemporary heteronormative relationships is looked at through the perspective of unmarried couples’ hardships in finding the right balance in sharing a mutual space and belongings. The film will borough conventions from the Horror genre, but the narrative themes will be relevant to contemporary issues pertaining the effects patriarchal mentalities that are perpetuated by society have on contemporary relationships.
